@gruber Regarding the expert users’ stance in footnote 6, paragraph 2 “I bought the device, I should be able to run whatever software, with whatever privileges, I want.” I agree this isn’t appropriate for most. But why can’t I pay to get full access? $200-300 unlock? $100/year?
