@benfry.com There are things that are better in 3d… but it’s still usually a mess. Especially when you project back to 2d. I’ve done a 3d prints of networks that make me think there may be more possible. There are loads of alternatives in 2d. Look at ideas in topological data analysis for some transformations

@benfry.com I kinda wish I had a Vision Pro to see if there’s anything better we could do in 3d for some of these graphs. (Yes I realize people have looked at that before and didn’t find anything… but same was true of neural nets in 2006 too)
